Kross Lea JR 1.0
Following the example of the adult Kross Lea, we created Kross Lea JR 1.0. It is a recreational mountain bike that will be perfect both for commuting to school and for weekend family trips outside the city. Kross Lea JR 1.0 is an adult technical solution enclosed in a smaller frame adapted to children’s height.
Equipment
The Kross Lea JR 1.0 accessories are based on the concept of a single-blade crank and components of the Japanese manufacturer of bicycle accessories, Shimano. This allowed us to create a drive with an eight-speed cassette that will allow the child to ride comfortably in any terrain. And it will also minimize the risk of the chain falling off. The bike uses a suspension fork with a stroke of 50mm to increase travel comfort. Kross Lea JR 1.0 is 24″ wheels with Mitas V75 Scylla tires with a width of 1.9″, which will ensure predictable behavior of the bike both in the city and in the field. It is also V-brakes, ensuring safe braking and trouble-free operation.
Technologies
The Kross Lea JR 1.0 frame is made of aluminum performance. It is a special performance 6061 aluminum alloy, thanks to which the bike is stiff and resistant to mechanical damage. At the same time, it is a relatively light material that can surprise many cyclists with its properties. In addition, the frame is powder coated , which translates into durability of painting and its resistance to damage associated with everyday use of the bicycle. The low step-over height (adjusted to the child’s height) of the frame allows you to comfortably get on and off the bike.
