KROSS HEXAGON JR 1.0
Following the example of “adult” KROSS Hexagon models, we have created KROSS Hexagon Junior 1.0. It is a recreational children’s mountain bike that will be perfect both when commuting to school and during weekend family trips outside the city. KROSS Hexagon Junior 1.0 are adult technical solutions enclosed in a smaller frame adapted to children’s height.
KROSS Hexagon Junior 1.0 in the 2023 version has undergone subtle changes to make it an even more accessible solution for children. This year, the drive is made of high-quality Shimano components, enabling the child to ride comfortably in all conditions. There are also numerous, smaller modifications to the frame structure, seemingly invisible at first glance, but significantly improving driving comfort.
Equipment adapted to the needs of the child
KROSS Hexagon Junior 1.0 accessories are based on the 1×8 drive concept. To create such a drive, we used high-quality Shimano components . This allowed us to create a drivetrain with an eight-speed cassette supported by the SHIMANO TOURNEY TX800 rear derailleur. The drive designed in this way will allow the child to ride comfortably in any terrain. The SHIMANO ALTUS M315 shifters have been adapted to children’s hands, allowing them to be operated freely. The bike uses a suspension fork with a stroke of 50mm to increase travel comfort. It was specially developed for this bike. KROSS Hexagon Junior 1.0 is 24″ wheels, on which we put on high-quality tires with a width of 1.95″that will ensure predictable behavior of the bike both in the city and in the field. It is also V-brakes, ensuring safe braking and trouble-free operation.

The KROSS Hexagon Junior 1.0 frame is made of aluminum performance Aluminum Alloy Performance 6061 is high stiffness and resistance to fracture, and at the same time lightness typical of aluminum. . This special 6061 aluminum alloy makes the bike stiff and durable. At the same time, it is a relatively light material that can surprise many cyclists with its properties. To make it easier for the child to get on and off the bike, we have designed a lowered frame height. In addition, the frame is powder coated, which translates into durability of painting and its resistance to mechanical damage.
